Dr Connors brings over 30 years of experience and expertise in the domestic and international broadcast media environment working with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since 1993.

Jane served as Staff-Elected Director on the ABC Board, and her most recent role at ABC was Senior Adviser, ABC Editorial Policies (2017-2023) .

It was during this time that Jane became involved with Emergency Action Alliance, and played a critical role in ABC’s support for EAA’s first appeal (Ukraine Emergency Appeal).
